LOS ALAMOS, N.M. — On Dec. 12, The Centauri science club traveled to the Bradbury Museum at Los Alamos.
The museum displays detailed history of the Los Alamos labs.
At the museum, the visit started with a historical documentary.
From there, the students were able to work in an interactive lab where they were able to make an array of colors by using batteries, graphite pencil, paper, four electric wires and a small fiber optic light bulb.
After the lab, they spent an hour in the museum observing and learning about the different bombs made for the nuclear war.
In the museum, there were many interactive exhibits and “brain games” that all the students enjoyed playing. After the museum tour, they walked Main Street and ate lunch. The day was filled with fun and creative learning.
