Conejos Library District receives CARE grant

CONEJOS — The Institute of Museum and Library Services, in conjunction with the CARES Act Grant Program, has awarded the Conejos Library District a $10,000 grant. It will be used to engage residents and encourage the community to continue using our library during the COVID-19 pandemic. Tote bags geared toward adults, teenagers, and young children will be available to our patrons. Each bag contains books, activities, hand sanitizer and masks. This is a great opportunity for our patrons to  stay safely engaged during COVID-19.

You may call the La Jara Library at 719-274-5858 to reserve a tote bag. Summer hours are Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8:30 a.m. to noon.
