SAN LUIS VALLEY — Desiree Marie Cordova and Alex Cortez are happy to announce their wedding.
On June 6, 2016, while on vacation, Alex proposed to Desiree on the beach in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Two years later, together with their family by their sides, Alex and Desiree will be married early this June in Puerto Vallarta.
Both graduated high school in 2002, Alex from Centauri and Desiree from Alamosa. For the past 14 years, Alex has worked at Rustic Log Furniture (Rustic Living).  Desiree, currently working for the City of Alamosa, plans to finish classes at Adams State University to acquire a BS in Healthcare Administration and Management.
They are looking forward to continuing their life journey together as husband and wife along with their three children. There will be a Celebration of Marriage for friends and family when they return from Mexico, June 30 in Alamosa.
