Drug seizure near Bluff Overlook in Alamosa County

ALAMOSA — U.S. Fish and Wildlife and Alamosa County Sheriff’s office were responsible for seizing four different drugs and a large amount of currency on Nov. 1, 2020 in Alamosa County.


A U.S. Fish and Wildlife Officer along with Alamosa County Deputies made contact with a suspicious vehicle near the Bluff Overlook Wildlife Preserve on County Road 116 S. within Alamosa County. During the duration of the contact and after establishing probable cause officials seized 60 grams of Methamphetamine, 8 grams of Heroin, 11 grams of Marijuana, LSD and a large amount of US Currency.


David Patrick Silvas, 43, of Antonito and Toni Rae Fernandez, 32, of Alamosa were taken into custody and booked into the Alamosa County Detention Center on the following charges:


Possession of a Schedule I Substance-2 Counts (Drug Felony 4), Possession of a Schedule II Substance (Drug Felony 4), Unlawful Distribution of a Schedule I Substance (Drug Felony 2) Unlawful Distribution of a Schedule II Substance (Drug Felony 2)
