Easter Egg Hunt at Fort Garland Museum

FORT GARLAND — Three, two, one — the Easter Egg Hunt at the Fort Garland Museum on March 30 was on. Six years old and younger got a head start. This family fun event began four years ago. Brightly colored plastic eggs were strewn across the fort lawn. Among them were some golden eggs — which contained tickets the person redeemed for a special prize. There were two Easter egg hunts giving many people a chance to participate. There was also face painting. Call the Fort Garland Museum at 719-379-3512 to find out about upcoming programs and events.
