BRECKENRIDGE— CHSAA board member and Antonito High School Athletic Director Joe Garcia, Antonito was named CADA’s 1A Administrator of the year April 30. 
The Colorado Athletic Directors Association (CADA) held their annual award ceremony at Beaver Run Resort and Garcia was honored.
Founded in 1961, CADA helps to promote a positive image of their athletes as well as promoting the improvement of interscholastic athletics and activities within the total school curriculum.
“It’s a great honor to be a recipient of this award.  I’m humbled to even be considered for it”, Garcia said of the experience.
He continued, “years of being a student of my profession and serving has its benefits.  I would just like to thank those who believed in me and made me learn everyday while making a difference. 
Special thanks to CADA, CHSAA and my fellow AD’s for being part of a profession that is so demanding.  I’m blessed.”
