Great closing weekend ushers out Wolf Creek season

WOLF CREEK — The Wolf Creek Ski Area had a great closing weekend with the Howlin’ Wolf Super G, a College Day and a Local Appreciation Day.
Wolf Creek’s closing day was a beautiful bluebird day with excellent ski conditions to end the year on a super note.
The skier count was just shy of matching the 2015-2016 ski season with approximately 204,000 skier visits. Despite the season having a slow start, it ended strong with great snow and attendance.
January 2017 was a record breaking snowfall month with 165 inches of powder. Wolf Creek’s year-to-date snowfall came to 417 inches, with potential storms expected in April.
With significant snowfall and good timing of storm cycles, Wolf Creek will reopen for weekends throughout April. Announcements for reopening dates will be found on the homepage of www.WolfCreekSki.com.
