Harold Cordova honored for fire service

ALAMOSA — Dozens of firefighters and law enforcement personnel gathered on State Avenue in Alamosa on Sunday evening to honor Harold Cordova while his body was transferred to Rogers Family Mortuary.
A longtime Conejos County Fire Board member and possibly a former firefighter, Cordova apparently died Sunday after helping fight a fire in Manassa. Firefighters and law enforcement escorted his body from Conejos County to Alamosa where Alamosa and Department of Fire Protection and Control officers saluted his arrival.
