ANTONITO — The first day of June brought flooding to town, keeping town crews busy holding the water at bay, away from homes.
Pine Street was flooded in the vicinity of 5th and 7th avenues and there was concern that the basement of the old high school had been affected.
There also was concern that the senior citizens center would be damaged.
Town Administrator Rossi Duran said he was kept busy moving water away from buildings and using the town backhoe to clear areas where water was pooling up.
