Lopez found deceased

SAN LUIS – Duane Lopez, 63, was found deceased April 14 near Wild Horse Mesa. He had been missing since March 19.
Lopez suffered from Parkinson’s Disease with disorientation and memory issues.
Sheriff's reports said Lopez was last seen walking southbound near Highway 159 in San Luis. He was wearing a blue jacket, lavender button up shirt with an orange undershirt, blue jeans and brown loafers.
The body was found and reported by Costilla County residents and Costilla County Undersheriff Ricky Rodriguez said the family asked to have the report withheld until all family members were notified.
A thorough investigation was conducted by Costilla County deputies and the coroner, who determined that there was no foul play involved.
Lopez was about five miles from where he was last seen walking along Colo. Highway 149 on March 19 and the subsequent search reached into the New Mexico casino area.
He was described as a white man, 5’10”, 165 pounds, with brown eyes and salt and pepper hair.
