North Conejos Schools reap state honors

Centauri, Manassa honored for excellence

The North Conejos School District was honored by the Colorado Department of Education for academic excellence, District Accredited with Distinctio, now twice, Manassa Elementary is the John Irwin School of Excellence recipient and Centauri Middle School is the Governor’s Improvement Award winner for the second time. Superintendent Wilson said credit goes to a fantastic staff and the best students in a great community of people working together. He also applauded Centauri alumni, past teachers/administrators/staff and board members, as well as all those who trained them, as well as all who support the effort to make these exceptional accolades possible.
