SLV Health offers luncheon series

ALAMOSA—Injuries from falls are the number one related trauma for emergency services at SLV Health RMC, and most falls can be prevented. Attend an informative luncheon series to learn how to can improve your and your loved ones wellness in order to avoid a traumatic injury. The first of the four part series will be Friday, May 17 at noon at the SLV Health Conference Center, featuring AJ Webb who will provide different exercises to improve strength, balance and flexibility. Physical therapy assistant Brandon Cantu will demonstrate and discuss how to avoid falls, best practices for transferring patients, correct ways to use walkers and canes and much, much more.
