CONEJOS COUNTY — A mobile home fire Jan. 9 sent two persons to the hospital and destroyed the structure, the Conejos County Sheriffs Office has reported.
Multiple fire departments including La Jara, Capulin and Monte Vista were called to County Road BB at about 11:38 p.m.
The trailer house was fully engulfed in flames and burned to the ground, while two persons were hospitalized for burns.
Agents from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) responded and determined there was no foul play and the fire was an accident, the sheriff's office reported.
Names of the injured persons were not available at press time.
