Conejos County veterans were active in the Veterans Day parade at Alamosa. With the retirement of Orlando Gallardo as veterans Service officer, Robert Lockwood has been approved as his replacement, effective in early December. The Veterans Boulevard work is proceding well and will be maintained. Gallardo, forefather of the plans for a tree-lined boulevard, says there are still trees available and he will remain active in that work.
